Ray was born in Detroit, Michigan and came to San Jose when he was six. He worked for 35 years as a driver for UPS. He enjoyed traveling, especially with his family to Cambria, Hawaii and Carmel with his family.
He is survived by his wife Marie, four children, seven grandchildren, and three great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his late wife Shirley and son John.
A funeral mass will take place at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church on June 20, 2025 at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the VMA or Second Harvest of Silicon Valley would be greatly appreciated.
