Brrr. It’s a cold winter but at least the wind wasn’t blowing last Tuesday and it didn’t snow on us. And the sun did come out and try to warm us up. A couple more days of chilly mornings and then 5 days of rain. Let’s hope it lets up by next Tuesday so we don’t have to cancel.

Putting for Pesos had 2 winners today: Manoli Kelly and Leslie Ingham. They will both get that extra in their June sweeps envelopes.

Well, the birdie pot got emptied today after four weeks of rollover. Sabrina Malcolmson got her on her first shotgun hole, #5 and Teddy Morse got hers on #8. They had to share the pot but they both got weighed down with a lot of quarters. What a great birdie win. We’ll start over again on February 4 which is also our Captain’s Trophy day.
This last Tuesday was our January birthday golf game and our two birthday Shonis who golfed, Schinae Ogihara and Jan Trusso, both managed to get their birthday sweeps reward. Happy Birthday to them as well as our other Shoni January birthdays: Elena Johal, Celia Schiffner and Bonnie Evans.
