Yahoo. It was so nice to be able to get back to our Tuesday golf. We had February off due to a rain cancellation and our bunkers getting renovated. The course was in good shape, the bunkers looked nice and the weather cooperated. 20 Shonis and three new golfers showed up this morning prepared to have a great morning of golf while trying to grab this month’s Captain’s Trophy. Our new golfers were Jeanne Chiaramonte, Linda McChesney and Marie Colaizzi. Welcome to the Shonis.
Speaking of the Captain’s Trophy: Joyce Baptiste grabbed the gross Trophy with her gross of 33. She and Jan Trusso will be sharing the net trophy for their nets of 20. Amy Song will be receiving the newcomer trophy for the month because her net of 17 was better than the 20. We’ll get her picture next week and share it.
Today’s Putting for Pesos had three winners and each will get an extra dollar in their sweeps envelopes: Meg Rogers, MaryAnn Haggerty and Lesley Robinson. Thanks, Jonna for coordinating.
The putting practice must be helping as after almost a month off, we had four birdies today!
Donna Erickson birdied #4 as did Lesley Robinson. Sabrina Malcolmson got her birdie on #1 and then Jan Trusso got hers on #9.
