In the past year and a half (since August 2023) we have increased installation of roof top solar by 16. The Homeowners have increased by eight installs (total 61) as well as the Association (total 84). The combined total to date is 145 roof top installs. The percentage of rooftop solar within The Villages is almost 6 percent. We have until 2032 to receive the incentive of a 30 percent federal tax credit for installing solar panels, battery storage and EV chargers. Installing sooner than later provides you with a longer term decrease in your ever-increasing electricity rates and a good return on your investment.
