The first weekend of this month, September 7 and 8 will be our Men & Women’s doubles club tournament, so please sign up now so we can complete the draws.
There will be two categories, “A” and “B.” We will use a compass draw which needs eight teams. If we do not get enough teams, we may use a round robin format.
Three weeks later, September 28 and 29 will be our Mixed double club tournament. You can sign up now for both or one at a time. Here is how:
Go to our website at http://villagestennisvgcc.club and click on Tennis Club Tournament under Recent Posts located on the right side. Then scroll down and find registration forms for Doubles and Mixed.
We will post the draw for M&W doubles at the Viewing Stand on Friday, September 6. You will be emailed the time of you first match. You will be responsible for reading the draw and finding the time of your next match. Remember, you keep playing whether you win our lose in a compass draw.
