Village Voices: Why do we sing?

Music Notes

Do you sing in the shower? Do you wander around the house humming or whistling your favorite tune? Or do you sing along when an old or new favorite tune pops up online? Would you be happy with a new group of friends to share and enjoy music with? Then why aren’t you singing with the Village Voices?

There are many excuses. We in the Voices have heard them all. Maybe you’ve never sung in a choral group before. You’re not alone. Maybe you don’t even know what the right vocal range is for you. Soprano or alto? Tenor or bass? Somewhere in between? You’re not alone. Maybe you think that you’re too shy to sing in public. But when you sing with the Villages Music Society’s Voices you have the support of a crowd of advocates. You’re not alone.

Now is the best time to make a change. Try something new. It’s a new year and we’re just starting our Spring season. Come join us at Foothill Centers on Wednesday evenings at 7 p.m. You won’t be alone.
