On Saturday, March 1, the Local Trips Study Group embarked on an unforgettable visit to the Rosicrucian Egyptian Museum in San Jose. Home to the largest collection of ancient Egyptian artifacts in the United States, the museum showcases 4,000 years of history bringing the world of pharaohs, pyramids and mummies to life.
One of the highlights of the trip was a tour of a reconstructed tomb, offering an immersive glimpse into ancient burial practices. With earbuds on for a self-guided tour, the group explored a breathtaking array of treasure—from intricately crafted jewelry to life-size statues and well-preserved mummies.
It was a truly enriching experience, allowing everyone to step back in time and marvel at the resilience of a civilization that has withstood the test of millennia.
