February Programs
Benefits of Acupuncture for Healthy Aging – Dr. Iong from Evergreen Natural Healing Arts will discuss the benefits of acupuncture and how modern research confirms what traditional Chinese medicine has known for over 3,000 years. Join us Wednesday, March 12 at 1 p.m. in the Sequoia room. Register online on the VMA website or call 408-238-4029.
Hearing Aid Clean and Repair – Hearing Life will provide free clean and repairs for your hearing aids, Tuesday, March 18 in Montgomery between 10 a.m. – noon. Please call the office at 408-238-4230 to make an appointment.
Support Groups
Parkinson’s Support Group: This monthly group is for all people interested in discussing Parkinson’s. Next meeting takes place on Thursday, February 27 at 10 a.m. in the Forum room. No need to register, all welcome!
Grief Support Group: A new Grief Share group led by The Villages’ Pastor Bill Hayden will begin Monday, March 3 in Sequoia from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. and run for 13 consecutive weeks. There will be a workbook as part of the group – cost is $20. Please call the office with any questions at 408-238-4029.
Caregiver Support Group: Judith London Ph.D. will conduct this monthly group where caregivers meet to share, listen, and learn.
