Hearing Screening – Hearing Life to offer free screenings in Montgomery Center on January 21, 10 a.m. to noon. Please call 408-238-4230 to make an appointment.
Dementia and Caregiving – Maria Nicolacoudis, Executive Director of Hearts and Minds Activity Center will provide an overview of Alzheimer’s and signs of dementia. She also will discuss the importance of activities and social interactions in maintaining your loved one’s abilities for a longer period of time. See full article. Support Groups
Parkinson’s Support Group: This monthly group is for all people interested in discussing Parkinson’s. Next meetings takes place on Thursday, January 23 at 10 a.m. in the Forum room. No need to register, all welcome!
Grief Support Group: Chaplain Dale Poland, M.Div, BCC – from Hospice of the Valley-Sutter Health meets with those facing loss in their lives. The next meeting is set for Monday, January 27 from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. in the Sequoia Room. Please call 408-238-4029 with any questions.
Caregiver Support Group: Judith London Ph.D. will conduct this monthly group where caregivers meet to share, listen, and learn.
