Responding to Dementia-Related Behavior – Vanessa Souza LCSW with the Alzheimer’s Association will present on dementia, describing it, listing behavior related triggers and how best to manage these behaviors on Wednesday, June 18 at 1 p.m. in Sequoia.
Matter of Balance – Managing Concerns About Falls – an award-winning, 8 week program designed to manage falls and increase activity levels is brought to you by ComForCare’s CEO Clifford Shaw along with Sheryl Javier. Every Monday starting July 7 through August 25 from 1 – 3 p.m. in Sequoia. Cost is $10 person. Only 12 spaces for this class, so please register early.
Hearing Life along with Clear Captions will provide free hearing aid clean and repair and information on the free Clear Caption service on Tuesday, July 15 in Montgomery Center starting at 10 a.m. Please call office at 408-238-4230 to register for a time.
Support Groups
Parkinson’s Support Group: This monthly group is for all people interested in discussing Parkinson’s. Next meeting takes place Thursday, June 26 at 10 a.m. in the Forum room. No need to register, all are welcome.
