We have all heard of acupuncture. What exactly is it, what benefits can it provide, and does it really work? Dr. Diana Iong will speak to Villagers on Wednesday, March 12 at 1 p.m. in the Sequoia Room in Cribari, sponsored by the VMA. She will discuss the benefits of acupuncture and how modern research confirms what Traditional Chinese Medicine has known for over 3,000 years. Acupuncture is a powerful tool for enhancing longevity, vitality, and overall well-being. In her presentation, she will discuss how it can improve blood flow to the brain and body, relieve pain, boost mobility and flexibility, and reduce stress and anxiety naturally.
Dr. Iong has over 20 years of clinical experience as a Doctor of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. She integrates her traditional and modern medical knowledge with her role as a Functional Medicine Clinician and Mindfulness Meditation Teacher. Dr. Iong will answer questions you may have about acupuncture. She will also provide hands-on learning! You’ll discover simple acupressure techniques to ease pain, relieve sinus congestion, and calm anxiety—skills you can use anytime, anywhere. This presentation is bound to benefit us all.
