At the first session, pay by cash or with checks payable to ComForCare. You will receive a workbook as part of the class. Refreshments are provided. One class builds upon another. You are asked to commit to all eight classes. The class is limited to 12 participants.
Clifford Shaw, CEO of ComForCare, a non-medical home-care company, completed the coach certificate for A Matter of Balance in 2024. Clifford says he took the training when he noticed that fear of falling prevents many older adults from social interactions. Clifford says, “This lack of in person connection with family and friends increases isolation and depression. A Matter of Balance can help people improve their quality of life and remain independent.”
