18 Hole Women welcome beautiful November golf

By Diana Hallock

Local Rules Update—A new local rule for The Villages which went into effect last week will be a great relief to all of us, especially on holes with water hazards. If your ball comes to rest on or near a goose dropping, and/or that goose dropping has adhered on your ball, you are entitled to lift, clean and replace your ball within 6 inches of its original location, with no penalty. Additionally, you may move goose droppings to avoid interference. What a great solution to a messy problem!

Our officers were elected for 2025. These ladies give tirelessly of their time to give all of us a chance to play, socialize and have fun. When you see them, be sure to thank them and plan to attend the Installation Luncheon on December 5.
